Traditional Ricciarelli are chewy almond biscuits originating from Siena, Italy. Each biscuit is individually rolled, gently pressed and dried before baking to give a delicately crisp exterior with a soft and chewy centre. This variation features naturally sweet and buttery Macadamia nuts grown in Titirangi, and aromatic candied Yuzu peel (grown in Horowhenua by Neville Chun). It might be a small bite, but it's surprisingly nutty and flavourful.
